Working Together To Find A Solution
When you are being harassed by creditors through the mail and on the phone, this causes a lot of stress. Once you file your bankruptcy, creditors must leave you alone and settle within the court system. We have experience in many types of bankruptcy, including Chapter 7, or liquidation bankruptcy, and Chapter 13, or reorganization bankruptcy. When you are getting ready for your initial consultation, we recommend that you bring the following information:
- Records of your previous two months of income
- All information you have regarding your creditors, including bills you have received
- Income tax returns for the most recent year
- Ninety days’ worth of statements from all of your bank accounts
- Any letters you have received regarding court matters due to the nonpayment of debt
- A copy of your credit report
The more information you can provide at your initial meeting, the better Jack will be able to assess your current financial situation. The clearer you are about your debt picture, the easier it will be to help you get back on your feet and recover from overspending. To learn more about your options, you can refer to our FAQ page.
